Clean hotel, the staff was welcoming and fabulous.
We only stayed here for 2 nights, as we didn't have time, but everything was fantastic. The room was spotless and brilliant with a very comfortable bed with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The service was good and the food was appetising.

The place was clean with free parking and an extremely comfy bed. The rooms were stylish, modern, and had a work desk, a multi-channel TV, and ironing facilities.- Exceptionally friendly and amicable staff who were always there to help.- The location was particularly good, about a 10-minute walk into town.

the breakfast was very good.
The public rooms were fine but the bedrooms need a little bit of attention and updating.I would not pay the full price to stay there but we only wanted an overnight stay so was a good price for us.

The welcome was lovely and even though there was a function on, the bar and dining staff took good care of the few guests dining in. Efficient check out in the morning. The bed was very comfortable. Lovely large, fluffy towels. The location suited me fine for where I was going for business.
It's very functional - not poor but absolutely no extras! No welcome pack in room, no local leaflets or maps available, 3 t bags and a coffee sachet per mug. Small tv. Just a bit sparse. It is on the main a6 road and there is a lot of traffic noise - not a problem unless you are hoping for rural tranquility. My room overlooked the petrol station forecourt - whose customers could see in, so had to keep the curtains closed.

The bedrooms were clean , but careworn. Your saving grace are your staff. They are professional and attentive Thank you so much to all who helped / served us
The communal areas are filthy, Stayed Sunday / Monday - saw no cleaning and in fact It's clear that they are never cleaned. Filthy skirting boards, stair rails , carpets The cooked breakfast was overcooked, We were down towards the end of service, but as it was cooked to order I can't understand why . Also found it strange to eat my breakfast in the bar area - Wonderful location but could make more of it
